autumn gazed at the woman, a soft smile seemed to rest on her face. eveleen always brought such a great vibe around, so she was glad that she got to spend some one-on-one time. “okay then, let me know whenever you’re in the snowman making mood and i’ll be there.” she replied sweetly, clapping her hands together a bit. “good, follow me then.” she reached out her hand towards the woman for her to grab it. sometimes, autumn could be cutesy.
the look the other woman was giving her made a shiver run down her spine, in the best way of course. it was such a look that made her want to bite her lip, but she held back. instead she just smiled. “Maybe later–after a drink. When liquor runs through my veins I usually feel a lot warmer.” she chuckled. But when the girl motioned for her to follow she smiled and gladly followed the other girl towards the kitchen happily lacing their hands together. “So my dear–how have you been lately? I feel like we haven’t spent much time together lately.”
“I was a Beater.
Came from many years as a dodgeball tyrant.” Cordelia said,
grinning proudly. “What about you? My guess would be Keeper, but
that’s probably more you as a person.” She winked playfully at
Eve, delivering the corny line playfully and not so much as a serious
pick up line.”Damn was definitely authentic.” She agreed with a
short laugh. “I’d say it summed up how I feel rather nicely, too.
But it is kinda adorable hearing you say bloody hell.” Considering
they were in London, Cordelia didn’t find it necessary to comment
on anyone’s British accent, considering they were the majority. But
being American, she definitely enjoyed hearing it. “I am pretty
sexy, though, aren’t I? Wait until you see me with glasses. I pull
off those ridiculous things like no one else could.”
Red. It was an odd
colour to favour, but not a bad one. It was bold and courageous.
Strong, even, just as Eve had said. “You’re not wrong. Maybe we
should make some more red, then. It is supposed to be Valentine’s
or whatever. Which I will admit is a total cop out of a holiday, but
I’ll take any excuse to eat candy.” Cordelia found the red paint
and applied some to her lips, before leaning in and placing a soft
kiss on Eve’s neck in two different spots, leaving two perfect lip
shapes. “You’re sort of looking like a cartoon character.”
Cordelia joked, laughing as she took Eve’s hand in her own and
pressed her lips to the back of it, showing her what was now
happening on her cheek and neck. “See?”
Laughing, Cordie
shrugged. “I mean, why not! You love lilies, haven’t asked what a
single term I’ve used so far meant, play Quidditch and LARP, and
though you haven’t played D&D, you know what it is. Also,
cosplay, so.. that’s a win. I mean, I’d give our impulsive
marriage.. fourteen months, at least. Not to say it wouldn’t last
longer, but there’s destruction in U-Hauling, you know?” She
spoke with a purposely serious face, but was trying not to laugh the
whole time. “Strawberry for my candy fiance, it is. Do I start
singing I Want Candy now,
or?…” Cordelia was definitely blushing when Eve proclaimed her
excitement for the other dates. “I don’t think too excited is
possible. Let’s hope you stay curious enough to get to date three,
though.” A playful wink was thrown her way.
“From
all the lore out there, it can take up to a couple days to turn. I
mean, if you get a bite to say the neck, and bleed out instantly, you
die faster, and reanimate faster. But it’s the infectious bite that
kills you, and if your arm is bitten or scratched, it’ll take
longer for you to die. Think about it: You’re bitten, and you know
if you tell, you’ll get a bullet to the head before you can say
your goodbye’s or get your affairs in order. Are you going to just
come forward? Or try to hide it?” It’s where most people in
movies went wrong. “Now.. if you knew by coming forward, you’d be
kept in comfortable quarantine, and allowed to choose if you died
before or after the turning – if you wanted to hold out through the
fever and pain.. if you didn’t want to turn at all? If you knew
you’d be given that choice,
with time to process and say goodbye? Would you be more inclined to
come forward, then? You’re going to die either way, but by coming
forward, you get your last goodbye’s, and people around you are
safe, right?” It made the most sense by any means, at least to
Cordelia.
“Plus,
by coming forward, you can then choose to donate your body. I mean..
if you’ve a doctor or a few med students.. having a freshly turned
zombie could be like a cadaver, you know? Someone they could learn on
without the decayed organs. And then you can – theoretically –
train a whole generation of surgeons. And then there’s the Class
System, I think would work best. Tell
me, Beautiful – what are your skills? In a zombie world.. aside
from your newfound archery talents.. what could you and how would you
contribute to a community? What would a community have to have for
you to even consider joining? And is the potential for danger in
being with a lot of people.. a worthwhile risk to being on your own
with no one watching your back?” Only the hard hitting questions,
obviously.
“As
for government.. think of it this way – how screwed up are
governments already? Now, put the threat of zombies in there. They’re
going to be scared, just like we are.. only they’ve got weapons.
Give a scared man a gun, and he’s going to shoot first, ask
questions later. On top of that, the government creating safe zones?
People are going to be terrified to come forward, not to mention,
they’ll be correcting mistakes as they’re made. It won’t last,
and since the majority of people will scurry into those so called
safe zones? It’ll be the most dangerous. Best thing to do if you
can’t get safely out of the city when outbreaks first start, is to
hunker down for a bit first. Not just government officials own guns,
and you can bet a lot of innocent people would die in the first few
days alone, just by impulse shots made by terrified people. Italy,
man. I’m telling you.”
Take
the paint off? Well, Cordelia wasn’t going to initiate anything
rushed, but how was she even supposed to say no to something like
that? Unless she was getting ahead of herself, of course. “The
paint is making it a
little chilly. And I have to admit.. a nice, warm shower sounds..
extremely enticing..”
She replied with a breathless smirk of her own, still red hand moving
around Eve’s body and resting on her ass, pulling their bodies
flush together, and kissing her once more. As their lips connected,
Cordelia couldn’t help the soft moan that sounded past her throat;
that same electrical build up was just as strong as their first kiss,
and it was addictive.
Eveleen couldn’t hold back the laugh. “I should have guessed you were a beater.” she said in a teasing voice. “Keeper is right” she said smirking now, the compliment making her cheeks warm. “I tried as the snitch for a while! It was fun but damn I could only do it once or twice a season. I always seemed to get hurt as hell at some point.” The sigh that fell from her lip really seemed to emphasize how much she had gotten hurt over the years. The confirmation that the word damn really set the tone for both of them made her smile even more. “I can say bloody hell more–” she paused, “But i try not to. Its sorta like an American girl saying fuck or damn all the time? Not always welcome or pleasant to hear–or so I’ve been told. So I try to tone it down.” she said shrugging. “Yes–you are sexy.” she winked. “Oh–Oh god. You in glasses. I’m going to melt.” she said her tone dropping.
She raised an eyebrow when the woman mentioned making red. She cocked her head to the side and chuckled. “Mmm. It is valentines day.” she chuckled. “Hey–there is nothing wrong with valentine’s day! It can be really fun–you get to do weird shit like this–and eat chocolate all day.” she said smiling. She watched at Cordelia put the red on her lips and her eyebrow twitched slightly. A shiver then rose up her spine at the kisses on her neck. “Oh do I?” she said laughing. “A cute cartoon character right? Not one of those ridiculous ones right?” She then shook her head. “Oh god.” she said. “I look so silly.” She said.
“What’s Lilies have to do with anything?” she asked a twitch of her lip indicating a curious smile. “I’d be happy to learn D&D but no one i know has ever played…soooo” her voice trailed off and she shrugged her shoulders. “Oh god–Lets not U-Haul ourselves here. That never has worked out well for me.” she shook her head laughing. Though, in all honesty she was being real, she had U-hauled before–and it always ended horribly, she ended up alone and wishing she hadn’t gone so far so fast. “Or, really anyone.” she said grinning. “I think you really should. I mean–I would totally appreciate your singing that song.” she mused, though part of her just really wanted to hear the other sing. “I believe I will…You’re quite the interesting person Cordelia”
The lore behind zombies was not one Eveleen knew well. Zombies weren’t her go to fantasy/sci-fi monsters and she wasn’t sure she totally understood it all. “I guess if we’re given the choice then yeah, coming forward makes the most sense.” she said “I’d want to say bye to those I love–put things in order–as much as possible and go before all that pain happened. What about you–would you go before or after the turn?” she asked, she didn’t understand the appeal of going after, but then again she hadn’t even thought of them making a place like Cordelia described before–so maybe there was something else she didn’t know about either. “Maybe a newly turned one they could even narrow down what it was that causes the turn–figure out how to stop and change the coding happening in our genes…” she trailed off and thought about her talents, about what she knew how to do.
“I don’t…feel like there’s much I could contribute…I mean my career is acting, modeling and writing. I guess I could document how things changed and whatever scientific discoveries we make. Uh….other than that and archery…I do know some basic self defense style stuff. I guess it’d need to feel safe, at least to some extent…but mostly–just being around like minded people would be–really helpful. There’s only so much alone time one can have before they just go insane. Living out in the woods all alone–I feel like that’d be worse.” she paused now. “What is your thought process on all this?” She licked her lips trying to process everything. “Very.” she muttered shaking her head, just the thought of government–between brexit and trump….the world was in some serious shit. “I get what you’re saying–so then whats the best plan of action to take if the zombie apocalypse happens tomorrow?” She paused. “Where do we go first and what are we doing?”
“A little, yes…i keep shivering.” she said “And I dislike shivering.” she added a second later. “It really does…I feel like I need it now.” Eveleen brushed some hair over her shoulder and squeaking slightly at the feeling of fingers touching her ass. She let her eyes flutter close as she returned the kiss. “So–showers…we should do that thing now.” she managed to get out without stuttering or sounding a bit embarrassed.
eveleen seemed like she was looking for something in particular when autumn caught her off guard, she hoped that she wasn’t throwing her off or something. “i haven’t built a snowman in years, but yeah i would wait until the snow actually stops because it is brutal out there.” she smiled, glad that the woman was on board. “awesome, as long as you keep me company in the kitchen while i make the hot cocoa then we’ve got ourselves a little snow date.” she winked and blew a kiss.
Her hunt for the scarf was quickly forgotten when she let her eyes wonder over the beautiful woman before her. “Tomorrow–or maybe later tonight if it slows soon.” she said, her voice perking right up at the idea of making a snowman with someone. “I’d be happy to keep you company.” she said her cheeks warming ever so slightly at the mention of the word date and the little playful blow kiss. It wasn’t that she didn’t have this stuff whenever–its just—Autumn was really beautiful and well–who wouldn’t get a little blushy around her?
Chiara tightened her grip on her handbag and held her cat tighter in her other hand as she followed Eveleen closely. ❝Yes, they do miracles. No way, I’ll love to try those.❞ She exclaimed rather lively. “Interesting.” She tried to be as surprised as she could, following her gaze on the picture the other woman was looking at. ❝Ji-Who?❞ The joke sounded funnier in her head. ❝Right, is there also the floor in which I must go?❞ She asked after clearing her throat.
She smiled sweetly as she looked to the kitty the woman held close. She made a cute little face at the kitty before she looked back to Chiara. “Highly recommend.” Eveleen added brushing her hair over her shoulders. She chuckled a little at the joke and shook her head. “Cute.” she said her nose scrunching playfully. “Oh, right, yes, you’re on the third floor–same as me! I’ll show you the way.” she said then looked back to the feline. “What’s the little one’s name?”
Anonymous says: My muse is hopeful that the interaction and flirting between them will continue, because she hasn't had a sparked interest in another woman that fascinates her this much, in a long while.
